GETTING TO KNOW US

I thought you might like to "meet" my family, so this page will be devoted to photos and getting to know us a little more.

My name is Steve. My wife Nancy and I make our home with our "daughter" (our Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle dog mix). The picture of me below was taken in one of our favorite places on earth -- the beautiful Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. This is my wife's favorite picture of me, so she insisted that it be put on this page.

I've been a Born-Again, Spirit-filled Christian since 1985 and I'm a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a call and a deep desire for the Great Commission, the saving of souls, and teaching the Word of God, with a strong emphasis on follow-up Discipleship.

My hobbies are music, wood-working, camping, fishing, boating, remote-control cars, boats & planes and anything to do with classic cars of the 1950s.

My name is Nancy, and I have been married to Steve since July 14, 1990. I enjoy playing the piano, cooking and collecting recipes (I have Type II Diabetes, so I am always on the lookout for recipes that fit into that way of life). My main hobby is web designing. I collect Dept. 56 Village Houses and Robert Duncan artwork. I love animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats, and I have a special place in my heart for the Asian Elephant.

As a Christan wife, I feel my "ministry" is to support Steve in his calling, but I also feel that the Lord has blessed me with a very special Gift of the Spirit -- the Gift of Helps and Encouragement.

Oliver Barrett
Our Turkish Van cat Oliver was named
for the character in Love Story.
Sadly, we lost our beloved Oliver

He will be missed always.

The "baby" of the family was Rudy,
our miniature-Dachshund.
Rudy passed away on August 2, 2007, at the age of 15.
What a void he left behind!
