Forgiving


If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:14,15)

Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?..Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven." (Matthew 18:21,22)

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. (Luke 17:3)

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. (Mark 11:25)

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. (Colossians 3:13)

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13,14)

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:18,19)

For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,"..says the Lord, And again, "The Lord will judge His people." (Hebrews 10:30)

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:10-12)
