Are You Grieving


I do not want you to be ignorant, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 4:13,14)

The Lord has comforted His people, and will have mercy on His afflcted. (Isaiah 49:13)

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

This is my comfort in my afflction, for Your word has given me life. (Psalm 119:50)

O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:55-57)
