Need Patience?
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. (Galatians 5:22)Knowing that the testing of you faith produces patience. But let patient have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:3,4) Do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Hebrews 6:12) It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (Lamentations 3:26) If we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. (Romans 8:25) The end of a thing is better than its beginning. The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, for anger rests in the bosom of fools. (Ecclesiastes 7:8,9) Whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus. (Romans 15:4,5) Rest in the Lord, and wait patient for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. (Psalm 37:7) I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1) Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: "For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry." (Hebrews 10:35-37) Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. (Hebrews 12:1) We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulations produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in oru hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:3-5) |
