The life of a baby begins long before he or she is born. A new individual human being begins growing in the mother's uterus at fertilization, and if the baby's life is not interrupted, he or she will someday become an adult man or woman. Worldwide, millions of unborn babies are killed each year. In the United States over 32 million unborn babies have been killed in the 21 years since abortion was legalized and more than 1.5 million are killed each year.
CAN or Will God Almighty Bless a Nation whose President supports a womens right to choose the abortion of a child, when in God's own word calls killing a sin!?...the answer is NO He will NOT! Below is video stating in Barack Obama's own words, his choice, belief and conviction (or lack of it) about Abortion. Maybe not today, but one day the Lord will punish those who have killed innocent defenseless lives. Don't tell me you believe in God and choose to kill His creation....for this is the work of the Devil!!!!
What the Bible says about the Worth of the Unborn
Most of the following verses point to
the humanity, personhood, separate
identity of the preborn. Also, they
show that God knew us before we were
actually born while in the womb, and
that He has a plan for us.
If a preborn baby is a separate
identity that is known by God, then it
is a person and so abortion is killing
- not a medical "choice" to remove
products of conception.
(I may shorten verses for time, feel
free to read original)
Psalms 51:5 - Surely I was sinful at
birth, sinful from the time my mother
CONCEIVED me.
Luke 1:15 (John the Baptist) ..and he
will be filled with the Holy Spirit ,
even from his mother's womb.
(interesting that he had the Holy Spirit before he was born.)
Isaiah 44:2 , also Isa. 49:5 - thus
saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from
the womb.
( so if God is forming the
unborn, what more proof of worth is there?)
Psalms 100:3 - It is God who has made
us and not we ourselves.
Luke 1:41 and Luke 2:12- "Baby" here comes from "brephos"
-greek for "baby". It is used to
describe the 'baby' in Mary's womb.
( like the bumper sticker
says-" if it's not a baby then you are
not pregnant".)
Psalms 139:13-16 - Thou didst knit me
together in my mother's womb....in the
books were written...the days that were
formed for me, when as yet there was
none of them.
Jeremiah 1:5 - before I formed you in
the belly, I knew you. BEFORE YOU CAME
out of the womb I SANCTIFIED you.
Genesis 25:23 - (God knew that Esau
and Jacob would be two nations before
birth)
Galatians 1:15 - (Paul) but when God ,
who set me apart, from my mother's
womb and called me by his grace
John 31:15 - Did not the Same One form
us both within our mothers.
Luke 1:11-17 - ( even before John the
Baptist was born , the angel knew
his name)
Luke 1:31-33 - ditto for Jesus
Hebrew 7:9-10- (speaks of Levi paying
tithes , even while in Abraham's
loins. God has a plan for all of us.)
Luke 1:39-44- In those days Mary
arose and went with haste into the
hill country, to a city of Judah, and
she entered the house of Zechariah and
greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth
heard the greeting of Mary, the BABE
leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was
filled with the Holy Spirit and she
exclaimed with a loud cry. "Blessed
are you among women and blessed is the
fruit of your womb! And why is this
granted me, that the mother of my Lord
should come to me? For behold, when
the voice of your greeting came to my
ears, the BABE IN MY WOMB LEAPED FOR
JOY."
Joy is a human phenomenon!
Elizabeth was six months into her
pregnancy, "this is the sixth month
with her who was called barren," (Luke
1:36). So at six months we see there
was a clear expression of a human
emotion within the womb. And Mary had
just conceived -- yet John in
Elizabeth's womb is reacting to the
person of Jesus in Mary's womb!
This is a very strong point. A lot of
the weight of argument lies right
here. This is saying that Elizabeth's
unborn baby sensed the presence of the
Lord Jesus in Mary's womb -- that's
why it says that "Elizabeth was filled
with the Holy Spirit" (Luke 1:41), and
"the babe ... leaped for joy" (Luke
1:44).
Here, we can conclude, the emotion of
joy is being expressed through the
humanity of the fetus.
In another place, Luke 1:15, it talks
about John's being filled with the
Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's
womb.
All this I take as evidence that
Scripture teaches that a human life
exists from the very moment of
conception.
Now we are coming to the second step.
The first has been to establish that
there is human life in the fetus. The
second crucial question is this: "What
does aborting that type of human life
involve? "
We are interfering with what God has
knit together in our wombs when we
abort.
As a Christian, are these physical
characteristics along with the created
life, ordained by God? The Bible
verses above indicate that this is so. Is
destroying this life going to have the
same ramifications as ending a born
baby's life?
I can't see the difference, and would
fear interfering with their life plan.
Some seem to have trouble with verse
in Exodus 21:22-25
"If men strive, and hurt a woman
with child, so that her fruit depart
from her, and yet no mischief follow:
he shall be punished...... And if any
mischief follow, then thou shall give
life for life.
The word depart means bear out, break
out, bring forth, go out etc. It
simply means that the baby comes out.
It makes no judgement on the condition
of the baby. That is what the rest of
the verse is for.
The 'mischief" to the fruit is what
determines the life for life, or eye
for eye punishment seen in verses
23,24.
So this verse does not refer to
miscarriage or still born. Says
nothing about survivability , since
could be any where along the 9 months.
It just simply says the baby (fruit)
breaks forth.
This verse does not devalue a baby in
utero.
On the contrary it shows that it has
value. Unlike today....
